George Welch, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.S.E., R.P.V.I. is an experienced, caring and detail oriented cardiologist.
Dr. Welch completed his medical residency and chief residency at Harvard University. He subsequently trained in cardiology at Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Welch has served on the faculty at Columbia University Medical Center and New York University as Clinical Instructor in Medicine. He has published more than 50 original research articles and abstracts looking at the underlying causes of heart attacks.
He is board certified in cardiology, echocardiology, nuclear cardiology and vascular disease(RPVI). He has been recognized by his peers as one of the top cardiologists in New York City when he received a prestigious Castle Connelly Top Doctor Award.
