Dr. Robert Segal: LabFinder is on a mission to transform healthcare and save lives. I started LabFinder because of a patient of mine who is also a dear friend. Her name is Renee. She was suffering with prolonged shortness of breath and fatigue for almost two years. She came to me and asked me my opinion. I noticed that she had a CAT scan done that revealed a spot in her lung. It was too late for her to receive treatment because the cancer had already spread. She could’ve been saved. She could’ve watched her kids grow up, but nothing was done for her until it was too late. And Renee’s ordeal made me realize that the healthcare system was failing so I developed LabFinder.
Denise Pate: All too often, I have so many patients who come into my office who have seen other specialists. It’s extremely frustrating when they come in because I don’t have the results in hand to help direct what’s going on with them. Through LabFinder, they’re able to hold onto those results and then we’re able to make medical decisions right on the spot, making our appointments much more effective and much safer.
