Who should get this test?
Cervical Spine MRI is usually ordered by doctors if you have these indications:
- Cancer or Mets
- Infection / abscess
- MS, hemiplegia / paresthesia
- Surgery to c-spine within past 10 years

No. An MRI is a painless radiology technique that has the advantages of avoiding radiation exposure.
