Abdominal MRI is a painless radiology exam which may be performed to help visualize the abdomen area in a non-invasive manner. It aids doctors in visualizing tumors, infection, inflammation, and other kidney and liver disorders or diseases.
Who should get an Abdomen MRI?
An Abdominal MRI is usually ordered by doctors if you have these indications:
- Liver pathology (hemangiomas, masses, etc)
- Kidney pathology (cysts, tumors)
